Yamaha Announces 2006 Motocross and Off-Road Contingency Program

Yamaha Motor Corp., USA is proud to announce the 2006 Off Road and Motocross Contingency program. Supporting Yamaha YZ and WR racers nationwide, the 2006 program is increased with total posted amounts and number of events/races.
The total posted dollar amount has been increased by over 30%, now totaling in excess of $8,000,000. In an effort to reach more riders and local tracks, the program also posts an increase in contingency eligible races by adding over 100 new events.
"Racers are the backbone of our sport," explains Yamaha Racing Manager Mike Guerra. "The additional monies and events will support them at the grassroots level more than ever."
